The phytotoxicity test is intended for phytotoxicity screening of soils, sludges, sediments, composts, effluents for irrigation, chemicals,pesticides and biocides.
The Phytotoxkit solid samples contains all necessary materials to perform one complete 3-day seed germination and early growth tests with the monocotyl Sorghum saccharatum (Sorgho) and the dicotyls Lepidium sativum (gardencress) and Sinapis alba (mustard), in three replicates. This cost-effective and user-friendly phytotoxicity assay strictly adheres to ISO Standard 18763.

Test criterion
The phytotoxicity test is a 3-day bioassay based on the seed germination and root growth of the 3 higher plant species after exposure to contaminated soils, solid wastes, composts, sludges or chemicals added to soil.
